ON THE AIR NOW...Sebastian DOB 03/1996
Although his name is Halston, he prefers to be called Sebastian. He is a very talkative child who has definite ideas and plans, one of which is to be adopted. he would like to be a dog trainer when he grows up. He is friendly, open and easy to talk to. He has difficulty concentrating, but he likes school especially reading and his behavior is good most times at school. Sebastian receives extra assistance at school to enhance his learning ability. Church is very important to him. He has stated he would like to be part of the "next generation", meaning he wants to be a part of the church that helps it to continue to grow through the next years. He is also working on telling the truth all the time, but at times it's hard especially when he wants to get out of trouble.
Sebastian has been known to throw a tantrum on occasion, especially when he doesn't get his way. Like many his age, he does tend to pick on other children in the home. At the Boys and Girls Club, his behavior is good and he enjoys participating in activities with his foster family. He likes fishing, sports and spending time with his foster family. His favorite foods are hamburgers and pizza. He says that he is allergic to seafood, except for
tuna.
Sebastian will need a family with consistent discipline where he can learn appropriate social and daily living skills. It has been suggested that he keep contact with his grandmother through visits and/or phone calls as he has a close bond with her. Sebastian has told workers that he wants a normal, loving family and is even willing to move away from the area, even if it means, less contact with his grandmother. He has even stated that he thinks he wants to change his name and just start over with his new family.
